I've done a search, and it seems most of you guys are using prothane motor mounts versus motor mount inserts,.. I didn't find too much on inserts, mine is a daily driver and I really don't want too much vibration..thanks for any feedback,

Mario

I have the complete prothane set for mine. I also removed my balance shafts. I don't mind the vibration, it's not really that bad. I bet if you get them and after a week of driving you won't even know they are there.

I've been in a car with prothane and how can I put it, lets just say its heavy duty. You feel like your hugging the motor, the car had cams and a roll cage. so it was pretty bad, but it really works. I personally would mind, but some wouldnt care I guess.

I already have inserts for the front and rear. But my left mount next to the timing belt gave out. so I would like to replace it with some after market ones instead of OEMs.

anybody know makes them other than prothane?

Energy Suspension...but the Prothane ones are the best. you wont even remember you have them after a few weeks!

I remember the first time I got the Prothanes and as soon as I fired up the car I thought I made a HUGE mistake. The car vibrated bad and this was without cams. It loosens all the bolts out of everything and it’s a serious PITA and its 2x as bad if you have cams and a low vacuum signal. That being said I think it did wonders to help eliminate torque steer and improve handling. Now when I get in a car without Prothanes it feels odd to me. If you are worried about it just use window weld. It is a great half step.
