motor build/swap ???s

i have a 1995 eclipse gsx 5speed. the motor is a stock 7 bolt that the timing belt broke and i fingered i would just swap it out. i am looking at a 6 blot with 1g rods and 2g pistons stock 6 bolt head. i would use the stock 2g intake mani, TB, fuel rail, and injectors for now (i was told it would be less wiring problems). i would like to use a t3 ex manifold with 38mm wg to a BorgWarner s256 extended tip v band .70A/R with the 3in exhaust on the car.

i plan on running low boost if i run the car at all until i get some of the parts listed below.

future parts list:

HKS bov
evo3 TB and intake manifold
AEM fuel rail
PTE 780 cc injectors
force performance fp2 cams
ARP head studs
light weight flywheel
ACT 2600 clutch
B&M short shifter
DSMlink v2 or v3
Gizzmo's MS-IBC boost controller
Gizzmo Electronics CamFC Vtec/MIVEC Fuel Controller
HKS turbo timmer



what wiring problems will i run into with this swap? i think i have an E prom
is there anything that comes to your mind that i might need to know about the swap, parts, or my plans?

this is my first dsm/boosted car so any helpful insight appreciated.

Gizzmo Electronics CamFC Vtec/MIVEC Fuel Controller?????NO,these arent Hondas nor do they have mivec. YES,you should have an eprom being a 95.6 bolt block with 1g rods and 2g pistons,A 6 bolt block would have 1g rods being it came out of a 1g.You dont need a electronic mbc a ball and spring like a hallman works just fine.If your going to go the dsm link you might as well buy even bigger injectors for some growing room as dsmlink will have no problems making them idle good.You also need a walbro 255 fuel pump dont forget that.Look up magnus motorsports they have a 6 bolt swap wiring write up on there site.good luck Also you could just buy a new head for now for a couple hundred bucks unless you have money to burn....

thanks for the info. the car has over 160K and i know the guy beat the hell out of it. so it just looked like a good time to swap it. this car is not my dd so this is going to be a year long project.

Also get an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator if you're going to get the 255 walbro. AEM fuel rail? I think that is kind of overkill in terms of using only 780cc injectors. Stick with a MBC seeing as they are cheaper as just as effective. As far as wiring problems, I wouldn't be of help in that area, sorry bro.
