Most HP on stock 450's.....

I will post my best www.taboospeedshop.com HP calculator results with my stock 450's, but PLEASE no one start any flame wars, I just wanna see how far they have been pushed and at what levels of boost.

I went 13.21 @ 103 on 18psi with 93 octane with my 1995 GSX I wrecked, with the stock injectors.

Anyone go mid-hi 12's...hell any LOW 12s.?

The HP calculator estimates 284 hp at the wheels and 348 to the crank.

I went 13.3 on a 16g @ 17 psi. After that I just needed more fuel.

the potential is there for me to go pretty damn fast with them, since i have propane injection.
i just have to fix a bunch of shit before it will turn decent times...stupid 2nd gear synchro.

A buddy of mine went low 13s on a 16g at 6000ft elevation on his 450s. I know he had his bfp set pretty high though.

well... in terms of HP i dunno... as far as 1/4 times....
jay haas went 12.5 on his stockers...
and artictsi went 12.1 on his stockers... so alot can be done with them,,,,

It's all about fuel. If you're running race gas, you can probably run high 11's to low 12's. However, on pump gas, mow 13's to high 12's is probably more like it.

Anyone know any of the set-ups used to get these times with 450 injectors???

If stock injectors can take a person/car so far why are injectors "such" a priority to upgrade?? I know the response to this just level with me.....

I would be very happy with low to mid 13's on pump and mid/hi 12's on race gas. With $300 saved maybe I coulda had a Datalogger and a EGT gauge.....or over half saved up for a FMIC.....OR a wideband o2 sensor.

Is it me or do injectors come up on the mod list Before a FMIC?

My car ran 12.8 @ 108 on 450's and a 14b (race gas) and 13.2 @ 100 on pump gas with the same setup.

People tell you to upgrade because on pump gas 450's get maxxed out QUICK.

and over here on the West coast where we have 91 octane
550 injectors get maxed out very fast, too.

BTW Phil Beers went 12.001 at 113 mph on stock 450's

So I guess what I need to do is get the pocketlogger software...( hell I have a palm III laying around somewhere ) and a nice wideband o2 sensor and just tune it out???
