more tire questions!

I want my tires to look like these, grippy meaty tires that should only go on a fast car
but my main question is what size do I get?
I have a 1g that will get a 2" drop and wheels will stay as close to stock as possible.
I may even keep the swirlies I searched quite a few tire threads but it seems like nobody will run wider than a 225? cant we do 235 or 245 and keep them low enough of a profile not to rub?
the tires don't have to last really long just from tax time to tax time
I'll tell the wife I bought the wrong tread wear and they just didn't last
I would love to see a pic of a 1g with a 2" drop and super wide meaty tires.
the top pic is what im looking for and the bottom pic is my car as it sits with bald tires
and the tire fitment guide shows it's for 2g's sorry for the long post I just don't want to be disappointed.

Well for one thing the picture on top have 16x8 RX7 wheels and you have 16x6 stock wheels. The next thing is that 225 is definitely the widest you can go on 6" wide tires and the offset of the wheels, but that's going overboard. It'll sway like mofo and will probably shorting the life of the tire because it'll stretch.

I'd say 215/50/16 or 215/55/16 is the best choice and I don't see much use of the Falken Azenis RT-615 in the top picture on your car. They are summer tires and have horrible wet gripping and would be a huge waste if I went on a stock motor.

ok the guy at pepboys try'd to tell me I had to get 255/75/16 for my explorer even after I told him the door says 235/75/15. So I dont want to argue with that idiot again.
Im looking for something really grippy because 1st and 2nd is nothin but spinning and third chirps too.
but I love the way those tires look


ok then what size wheel and tire combo can I do with a 2" drop?
I want them as wide as possible..
