OK I searched this for about an hour and couldn't find anything that related to my problem. Here is what I am experiencing.

My clutch basically wont engage fully. If I start my car in neutral I cant get it into gear when I step on the clutch. So to test it out I shut the car off put the tranny in first gear and put the clutch to the floor. As soon as I started it the car began rolling forward. It didn't take off like if the clutch was fully disengaged but it rolled pretty quickly. Here is what i am working with, ACT 2600 (3 months old and worked fine for those 3 months) and SS clutch line. I am hoping it is something as simple as a new clutch master due to the excessive pressure put on the damn near 10 year old one that is on there now by the 2600LB pressure plate. But I am not a rich man, I am broke. Especially after putting all my money into building a Hercules 6 bolt, so I don't want to waste more time and money into replacing parts for the hell of it. I have already been without my car since the end of MAY and I cant make it much longer.

What do you experts think the problem may be. I am hoping I don't here the term clutch fork because I can't afford a tranny and I have no idea how to work on a tranny. I can build a motor but not a tranny. HELP!!!

You really didn't give us much information...it could be any number of things.

Have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal? If you get under the car while someone pushes the pedal, can you see the slave rod extending? Does it extend fully?

Given the lack of information, assuming all of the above is true, my money would be the clutch fork. The bright side is that changing this really isn't too difficult. If you can drop the tranny, you can change the fork.

yeah sorry about the lack of info. all that was tried everything seems to be in order other than a minor leak from the master which i am replacing soon. my new 6 bolt will be going in shortly to so since the tranny will be exposed can someone show a picture of what the clutch for should look like so i can tell if it is bent or not. again i really don't know shit about trannies.
