months later and the car is still running like crap

Ok my car has been running like crap for the last couple months. Its been in my garage for almost a year now. The new setup is listed below. The issue is the car sounds like garbage. It gets between 10-15 hg vac and is very hard to start up and idle. Compression is 150 across (6 bolt) and timing is perfect. This is the second motor and the problem still exist. Literally everything has been changed and no real difference. I did a few dsmlink logs when I had link. The timing keeps bouncing around no matter what I do. But I get better vac and idle with high timing advance. I have done a boost leak test and nothing besides a slight tb leak. I also checked that every spark plug and injector is firing by doing a balance test. Only logical thing left is fuel filter and power transistor?

setup:
full 6 bolt in a 2g (I previously had a 6 bolt head that ran ok before I pulled the motor so swap was done good)
16g
255 pump, fpr set to 43 psi
open exhaust (new downpipe coming in)
everything else is stock

I just realized that i never swapped the 1g knock sensor. I hear that its different from the 2g knock sensors. Does any know if this would be causing my problems?

that's the first thing i would try, correct sensor for the ecu.

I didn't pick up a 2g knock sensor yet but I am gonna try unplugging the 1g sensor and see how the car runs. I hope this is it. My car has been parked for awhile now.

it will still run like crap without a knock sensor because it will be in "limp mode."
