Montero MAF

Hey guys so I had a quick question I searched all over and couldn't find a thread about it so I'm gonna ask now. But I'm pretty sure my maf took a crap and I can get a montero maf. It looks the same but I was just curious if it would work?? I have a 97 gst with a 91 motor. 2nd gen maf. This is the part number. # (MD183609) thanks alot for the help guys!!

what year montero is it coming from? from what ive found so far there are a few that cross reference with each other:

Are you saying that the part number on the Montero MAS is MD183609? That is the 2G MAS part number. If you tell me the part number on the Montero MAS I can tell you if it flows the same.

I'd get the 3g Eclipse/8g Galant MAS, but clip the plug with some harness. Wiring is the same as 2g, but it has 3'' round outlet instead of the nasty oval thing the 2g MAS has
