Model Info Help

Ok I couldnt really figure out a good title for this thread but I have a 92 GSX that I'm trying to find out if its a 6-bolt or a 7-bolt and before anything is said about searching I have done the vfaq identify method with the oil pan and found that mine is so dented up that its hard to tell so I was wondering if there is a way to tell by using the Manufacturing Date which is Jul 91?

Are you sure it's a 92? That is about the same manufacture date as my 91.

I expect with that date, anyway, it should be a 6 bolt. It was early to mid 92 they switched over. (May maybe...?)

If your car's "birthdate" is July 91' then you have a 6-bolt.
