mitsubishi 18g versus a mitsubishi small 16g turbo???

I currently have a small 16g turbo and now am looking to upgrade. I have been contacted by someone who said they would directly trade their 18g for my small 16g. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of the 18g and also if this is a good trade? He has included pictures and says there is no shaft play.

If both turbos are in great condition, I think it would be a good trade. Now the question is why does he want to trade you his 18g straight up for your s16g since his is worth more? Pro's and cons, the 18g will take abit longer to spool but will give you better top end pull and more hp potential.

Looking at your profile you don't have any fuel/logging mods so you won't be able to get the true benefit out of either of these turbos.

I agree, his turbo maybe rebuilt or something but a 16g for 18g would be a good trade. If you dont plan on upgrading fuel i'd stick with the 16g.
