Does anyone know the part #s for an evo3 exhaust housing to 02 housing gasket and a 7cm turbo gasket? I need both gaskets that touch my turbine exhaust housing.

I'm not sure, but I think the O2 housing gasket is the same. I think the EVO VIII has a 7cm inlet gasket and the same bolt up. I know the turbo is different but I think the gasket is right. I will check this if I can tomorrow. My friend works at Mitsu.

I guess I should have been more clear. I know I can get the gaskets from no less than 10 aftermarket suppliers, but shipping is a pain and I would like to find a better/easier source for future turbo removals/reinstalls.

I was hoping that since the Evo turbo was factory mitsu equipment, there would be a way to get these parts from the dealer, but I realize this may not be true.

I got my EGR block-off plate from the dealer, I forget the part number, but it came stock on some vehicle that didn't run an EGR.

My guess is that since no cars in the U.S. ever had a 7cm exhaust housing or an Evo3 turbo on them, that the dealer option may not work out, but I wanted to know if it was possible.

Since nobody has provided mitsu part #s for either of these gaskets, I'm assuming it's safe to say that neither is easily attainable at U.S. dealers?

If you want to get them at a dealer then why don't you try asking the dealer to see the parts I suggested before?I have a 7cm gasket in my tool box and it came with my headset gasket kit. And like I said before, the gasket to the O2 housing is the same as a 1G. If you have a metric measuring device yo ucould take it to the dealer to check, if you want to, of course.

I figured that is what you wanted the part number for, but I bet SBR or Diamond Star Motorsport would be faster and cheaper. Perhaps shipping to you specificly is a pain... I don't know.

My Mitsu dealer takes forever to get parts, and before I moved, they were a 45 min trip each way.... kinda hard to swing during work hours.

If you want the part number, go to the dealer lot and write down a VIN (or find one online) of an EVO. Call parts and ask them to bring up the number. Worth a shot.

SBR is a 1hr drive, mitsu dealer is about 5 min, and the people are nicer at biondi

Evo 8s have completely different turbos than Evo 3s had.

Completely different in the affect that they are MIRROR images and the EVOVIII has a twin scroll. Neither of which has any effect on the gasket from the manifol tio turbo gasket.
This bold statment is incorrect. I apologize for my mis-information.

So I was wrong, You asked a question that your friendly dealer 5 minutes away could have answered. But now that I see you already know everything and that your questions are there to lead people into arguement. I will abide by your rule.

I will not speak with you, nore do I expect you to reply to any of my posts. I do however, have the actuall part number the gaskets that I got from the Mitsu dealer here. I already have the 7cm gasket that came with my other gaskets. All the time you wasted on here you could have had your gaskets installed by now. ;)

Thanks for your time

so can u post the part number for the 7cm gasket??? I need to get it from the dealer tomorrow. Thanks

No need to take your ball and go home dude. I knew they were different, that's why I asked for a part #. There is no UDSM application for a 7cm gasket, so I'm going to need a part # to get one from the dealer.

If you're so smart, why did you make a completely false statement instead of just posting the part# the first time, since that's what I asked for in the title of this thread?

So if there is no USDM part number, what makes you think a dealer would have one?
If you ever do find a part number they'll probably have to special order it, in which case it won't be cheap, and it will take a while to get. Good luck.

yes you can get it from the dealer because my friend did. but they dont have the part name on file and thats why you need a part number... so if any one has it please post it if not then dont post anything!

Keep in mind that you are hurting more than one fool who talked back to you; you are also hurting anyone who comes across this thread looking for the same part number, like me.

I did some research on google and think I may have found the part number.

Try MD171220 for the 7CM2 gasket.

Thanks man, that's what I was looking for.
My friend got clear corners for his subaru from the dealer, even though they never came on U.S. cars. If you just give them a part # they won't argue with you.
