Ok well i just changed my head gasket on my 91 tsi and i bled my lifters at the same time now the car is missing and backfiring like crazy, and sometimes smokes white, i checked the firing order and it was right so then just for giggles i switched it so it was completly backwards and the car still ran!! i changed the coil pack and nothing, Im clueless at this point, Please help me out:cry:.

Did you compression test it to see if the head gasket sealed properly. Try that, and then make sure the studs are tightened to spec. After that, check for boost leaks. And lastly, check your plugs and wires. Plugs gapped to .027/8 and NGK BPR6es or 7es.
