One day out of no where the car decides to give me a misfire right at 4k. In boost or free revving doesn't matter. If you slowly rev the car up it's fine till around 3800 and u can hear it start to break up, then by around 4500 it completely looses the cylinder. I pull the plugs and they all look like a good afr. One day at cruise it lost the cylinder and I pulled over and found the the number one plug had been fouled. I swapped it with the plug ne t to it and it cruised fine again. I changed the plugs to a new set of 7es's but the problem remained. I pulled out the coil/wires and switched over to a cop setup the problem remained. The afr's will slowly drop down to around 10.5:1 as the misfire occurs. Anyone have any ideas? I was considering maybe sending my injectors to fic and sending my ecu to ecmlink. Thx in advance for your help.
but I found the issue, a bad lifter caused one of the rockers to fall out.
