ok here it goes just the other day my 93 eagle talon tsi was driving great perfect with no problems i drove to the parts store to get oil for another car and it started fine but when i started driving the car wanted to stall or die felt like a intercooler pipe blew off, so i checked and it was all good it still ran like it had a misfire. so i get home and start pulling plug wires and turns out 1&4 were dead so i replaced the coil today and started fine for a couple of seconds and then the misfire came back only on #1 cylinder. so i check all plugs and there all fouled out cyl 1,2 are soaked in fuel changed them and still same problem. so im looking around and i see a leak from under the turbo manifold on cyl 1 it smells like old fuel but it mixed might be oil i dont know. its a constant leak also the bolts on the bottom that bolts the exhaust manifold to the block were very loose. also unplugged the #1 injector to see if the leak stopped but it didn't. all help will be very much appreciated. i posted pics so you can see were the leak is and you can see its only only on #1:confused:

Ok guys well since my problem I have taken out the injectors and two of them were very clogged went ahead and cleaned them new o-rings and a bottle of sea foam in the tank. Put them back in and now only cyl 3 is missing it has spark but seems like no fuel also this black nasty crap is coming out the down pipe. I checked the oil and its still clear so im thinking its all that dirt and crap from the fuel. Anyway wanted to see what y'all think it might be. Think it could be that injector is bad.

Also forgot to mention that I unplugged injector 3 and nothing happened I unplugged the others and car acted like it was supposed to shuttered and ran like crap so there good. Just #3 I noticed nothing happened

easy, swap another working injector into that cylinder and you can rule out of injector or wiring. Probably just a bad injector.

Well what about that black stuff coming out the exhaust

Sorry I missed this post bro. Did you figure it out? The black stuff can just be from inside your exhaust mixed with the fuel.

Hey i have a question about da cylinder heads. I seem to an oil leak on da head but i dont know what to do i kind of new at this. The leK is near cylinder four near the injector between the intake manifold and the head. Has damaged spme mechanical parts but dpnt know if i have to buy a new head or how i can fix this.. any info might be greatly appreciated

Gasket rebuild! look like an exhaust manifold gasket could do you some good, looks liek the head gaket might be on its way out. Pick up a chiltons manual, and replace the head gasket. If your pushing any power over stock, or would like a perfect seal, I would have the cylinder head decked. May need new valve seals and guides too isf thats oil on the exhaust manifold.

I am not sure how you would need a new exhaust manifold gasket when it's near the "injector". Anyhow, have you considered your valve cover gasket being bad? That will leak and cause that whole area to have oil residue. It's about $30 at autozone, and it's super easy to change.
