I have a 1993 Eagle Talon (2.0), and i just finished putting together the entire engine bay. Now, when i start it, it idles at 900rpms for a second then slowly crawls up to 2k rpm. After it peaks it starts to miss like there is a vaccum leak. I have checked all the vaccum lines and they are fine. Is it possible it could have something to do with the Cyclone intake manifold I installed? Any ideas would be very helpful.

Look into some kind of throttle body issue (TPS, IAC, etc..) You may have a dying/dead sensor causing that kind of issue. I would say to check your vac. hoses, but you state you already did.

Yea we blew smoke into the intake to look for leak but couldnt see any smoke coming out any where. Im gonna check the sensors on the throttle body and pray that it fixes the problem.

I just got done rebuilding my 1995 ESL talon and it did the same thing, then a few days later I went out and started it and I had no problem. Not sure what changed...

Well i replaced the o2 sensor and it still misses. I've got an extra throttle body that was originally on the cyclone intake so hopefully that will fix the problem.Any other ideas if the throttle body doesnt fix the misfire?
