HI everyone I have a 98 Eclipse Spyder gs and Iam having some problems with Idling. When I come out in the morning it starts up fine but the check engine light comes on After running into a store for five mintues i start it up again and it misfires.I got it tested on the computer and it says its the fuel Injector on the cylinder one .but it I let the car cool down for maybe like 3 hours or so it starts up fine .Is this my injector or my coil pack.? I have replaced all wires and plugs and they are gaped correctly .I think its my coil pack but i dont know how to replace it

Get the "codes" & it will help us out.

1. You will need a voltmeter.

2. Measure the (Primary) resistance between the connector terminals

----Resistance should be at 0.74-.090 Ohms.

3. Measure the (Second) resistance between the towers of the coil.

----Resistance should be at 20.1-27.3 Ohms.

4. You have 2 Ign. Coils, so check both out to be on the safe side.
