I've always liked to have the right tools for the job but some of them are just out of my price range. I have started to source some of the Miller (Factory tools) tools already for doing common tasks like balance shaft removal, wheel bearing replacements, seal installs etc. However, some of them are just too expensive for what they are.
I know that there have been various tricks to the trade i.e. using the water pump puller for rear main seal install, etc. Is there anywhere out there that does tool rentals for a small fee if I dont want to use these methods?
Second, is there a market should I buy these tools for renting out to DSMers (for a small fee) or is everyone content on using screw drivers for bearing removals and gear pullers for hub removal?
