*Miller Specialty Tool*

I have my timing belt job torn down to the point were i need this tool. i dont have the miller tool nor do i have the battery hold down thing that you can make one out of... is there any other suggestions you guys have that i could try ??? i dont really feal like waiting for the tool to be shipped to me..

If your talking about the threaded rod, you don't really need it since you should be replacing the auto-tensioner as part of the timing belt job and it will have a retaining pin installed from the factory. The threaded rod is only used to slowly push the pin back into the auto-tensioner when your talking the belt off or if you pull the pin before getting the preload on the timing belt correct. You can always slowly compress the auto-tensioner pin in a vice if you have to.

It's the tool for the tensioner pulley that I really think is worth having.
