Miami DSM Meet!

Dam guys i want to make it to the meet. But my car is making some wierd noise and vibrations, that seem to come from the rear diff i dont know what the hell it is!

See if you can record the sound somehow, maybe we can listen and see if we can help you pin point the problem.

I just changed the frot cv joints today and the car is running like a champ without the vobration on the back when i accelerate. I would still like to change the passanger rear driveshaft, because the inner boot split. Do any of you guys know where i could find a cheap replacement, or is there any way to rebuild mine? been searching everywhere and cant seem to find them, dont want to go to satan, they charge like 500 a piece.

Not sure about up there, but here in Hialeah there is tons of shops that rebuild axles for like $30-40 a piece, or less.

hahahaha, as far as meets the next "meet" is going to be a dyno day the end of january either the 22nd or the 23rd.

after that, i believe we are going to try the regular monthly meet one last time. if people show up we will continue, but if it is a bust like it has been recently than it is through.

Here you go. I got a quote from them once to do it, I think if you take them the axle it's like around $40. I haven't done it yet though.

also, bring friends. the dyno is open to anyone and the more we bring the cheaper it is. also, there are a ton more dsm's on this forum. you are telling me none of them are interested in this? confusing

I might be bringing a friend im sure hes interested in dyno his srt also another dsm'r friend would be joining us but his not going to dyno ill see if i could get a bunch off my friends to go dyno...

ahaa sorry about that. seems to be a lot of confusion going around. well than, hopefully i will attend the next meet on JANUARY 9TH!!!! and have all details about the dyno and try to convince more people to come.

as for price, i haven't been able to get a hold of the guy yet being that i'm in new jersey for the holidays. but i will be back next week so i will figure it out.

the meet on the 9th is at tropical park in miami. all of the info can be found at the top of the thread. at that meet i will have all of the information about the dyno and i will let everyone know the deal. so be at the meet to know about the dyno!!!

well really, just be at the meet so we can keep it going. if this meet blows like the one's in the past we are finished, and i really do not want that. i will once again be driving from boca rain or shine. if i can do that, you guys can drive from your various locations in miami.

My lights on the rearview mirror sometimes don't come on but it's intermittent...no sunroof issues...yet

check fuses, that's the first place to look and the easiest.
