I want to install a methanol injection system but with my local track being strict NHRA followers, using the rear tank and plumbing lines from the back is not allowed without constructing an air-tight firewall over the area (possible, but I figure it would be easier to install a tank up front somewhere) and some other hoops.
Has anybody put their methanol tank in the stock 2g SMIC location? What is the biggest size you could fit in there? Was it custom made or off the shelf tank?
For those interested in safety in case of a crash on that side, I don't plan on running pure methanol, probably 50/50 mixture with water.
