I sunk 900 bucks into a full megan racing 3" turboback exhaust.
It doesnt fit, and the pro muffler shop agreed something is wrong. it appears to be messed up beginning with the downpipe which comes far too close to touching the transmission. clearance is less than 1/4 inch from the flex joint to the transmission. The end of the downpipe comes very very close to contacting the drive axle when hooked up to the catback exhaust.

I have no complaints with the test pipe which is cherry.

The catback exhaust seemed to fit nicely until they hooked it up to the test pipe which was already attached to the downpipe, then the whole thing looked crooked. judging by how the stock exhaust was it was supposed to parralel the drive shaft instead it was off in two locations, the down pipe set it off parallel from the begining and then the catback veered back too far and then out from under the car.

If anyone has experience fitting MR exhaust please pipe up, because I was thinking maybe I put in a part upside down or something, but all the hangers match up...

HEELPP!!!

I'm currently In a dispute with Megan Racing they sent me a defective down pipe which they later admitted was wrong and I requested a full refund and they sent me another one that still will not fit. Extremely dissatisfied with their product and customer service. Hopefully this issue will get resolved soon it's been over a month.

If you can get your money back I would suggest going with an A'pexi downpipe & catback exhaust.. I have to say it's the best exhaust I've purchased to date.. Took us less than 15 minutes to install it on my GST and that's with us having a couple bolts that didn't cooperate with us and us having to cut off the stock exhaust..

Just a couple of pics of my a'pexi exhaust, don't mind the oil the oil pan gasket was leaking really bad it's since been replaced :)

I got mine from MAPerformance from Chris he gave me an awesome deal, if you can get your money back you should talk to him and work out something!

Is the megan racing cat back supposed to contact the transfer box? Is that a bad thing???

I think the more I look at it that my downpipe is defective.

Mine does not hit. You need to play with the exhaust a little, make sure you have all the hangers in tightly.
