Okay so I'm looking to sell my subs to buy a new exhaust for my GSX. So far the best one I think I've found for the most reasonable price is the Megan Racing cat back exhaust.

I was wondering if anyone has this exhaust and can tell me if it's a good upgrade, and if it bolts on nicely or any other suggestions on better cat backs. I'm sure there might be better ones, but I'm looking under a reasonable price.

My car is bone stock with just an intake and filter.

Here's the exhaust Megan Racing

EDIT: ON THE TITLE MY MISTAKE, MEANT TO PUT CATBACK EXHAUST.

The catback and downpipe make it a turboback because the downpipe is longer than normal and eliminates the catalytic converter. As for price, most of the supporting vendors here sell them so i would just visit their sites and do some price comparisons, it shouldnt take more than 5-10 minites to find who you want to buy from. And good choice btw, i intend on replacing the catback portion of my vrs turboback with the megan catback when i have the extra money. The tone is great as well as the volume and it has a very tastefull slanted exit.

definatly best bang for buck exhaust. i have seen one for a 1g awd that fit horibble that that was a loooong time ago. get the dp to go with it

Honestly it depends on how strict your emissions are. I see that you are in alaska and have a gsx. More than likely alaska isnt too strict and they also probably dont have an awd roller for exhaust tests. However, since your a 95 and even though you have obdII. They will still run your car at idle for hydrocarbons and probably somwhere around a 2k rpm rev while in neutral. Honestly, as long as your o2 sensor and your fuel trims are in line with no check engine light on, i think you could still pass the smog part of the test. And just in case they do a undercar visual test to check for a cat, just bokt the stock cats heatshield around the area that the cat would normally be placed so when they put the mirror under the car they see the heatshield and dont think anything of it:thumb:

EDIT: Sorry for the long post, its a pita to split up posts when on a cell phone LOL.
