megan racing headers

so i just want to keep it kinda simple. not racing car but stilll want good sound and quality for my DD. any good or bad reviews on the megan racing headers? just want to know if worth the buy or not

I'd personally (and have done this) would save the $100 and just get some ebay headers- 1995-1999 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE RS GS 420A NT 2.0L HEADER: eBay Motors (item 190466257342 end time Nov-15-10 17:15:29 PST)

Performance wise you likely won't feel anything but it will give the exhaust a little more tone. A cat delete will provide some gains if nothing else.

Stainless steel is stainless steel, you will not get anything more by buying Megan over eBay.

Yeah I am going with those 600 dollar headers becuase neither those nor the Megan racing will do much for performance. Right? Ha so eBay it is

Personally I had both Megan and the ebay specials and I love my ebay ones right now Lol. They are sort of gold and they perform(dont do anything) just as well.

I have heard of megan headers cracking. I have never used one personally, but I have had several friends tell me of them cracking.

"headers" is the generic term for the things. its like pants man you only wear 1 pant why do we call em a pair and pants.

Yes megan I think is a very good header, go for it I have a megan short throw shifter and megan radiator and they work very well, so that is to say that the headers will work well.

I have a megan header, with my bomz exhaust it has a nice sound.......but like one of the guys here said stainless steel is stainless steel, save yourself some money.......it sounded the same with my stock exhaust.... I JUST SAW THE DATE!

Anyways, yeah, there are 2 o2 sensors, up stream/ down stream. If your up stream o2 is out that could definitely cause drive-ability issues when its cold out. Since it just recently started getting colder here in Alabama I am assuming this has started in the last few weeks?

I hate to break it to you like this but, those Megan Headers... are a simple ebay quality exhaust manifodl with downpipe. Save your money and just get the no name ones from ebay for 70 bucks plus shipping.

They come in ceramic coated black, stainless steel and sometimes polished.
