megan o2 housing

So I bought a used 3" megan o2 housing for way cheap and got to looking at it. I noticed some overlap inside where the pipes are welded. Is It ok to grind that out and open up hole. The overlap is not part of a weld. just seems like it slipped through qc.

If you are talking about excess metal tubing sticking out into the path of airflow, then yes you can. Do you happen to have an aftermarket downpipe or exhaust?

I dont have the rest of the exhaust or pics yet. Ive been dragging my feet getting my build journal up too. Thanks for the input on the o2 housing. I should have the rest of the exhaust by spring.

just be careful not to grind too much or it will crack.

There is a good 5mm worth of overlap all the way around. Cant see it to well but its there.
