Megan EZ Street Coilover Setup

Are you asking for dyno plots for a decent drag setup on your particular shocks?
Because, you can't just turn it the same amount as someone else, or even the same amount as another shock on your car, and expect them to be at the same forces.

Even on quality shocks with adjustment knobs the knobs aren't going to be the same from shock to shock. You can do it by feel or with a dyno, but anyone that tells you something like "3/4 turn from full hard on all four corners" probably never actually tested their setup.

Chances are, not really. Ideally the shocks are set up to match the springs, this is done through custom valving (or to a lesser extent adjusting the knob) and dyno testing bump/rebound forces to compliment the springs. You can drive around and say "I want the car to ride harder/softer" and adjust for that, but generally won't help actual performance.

Edit:
From time to time I'm told I'm a nazi on shocks/springs/coilovers/etc. I'm don't care what kind of suspension you own, as long as you understand the limitations and don't expect it to perform like a...performance setup. Rock your Megans, cool, but remember what they are, how much they cost, and what they're going to be good for.

I just installed a set of megan ez street coilovers on my gst and was wondering if anyone has any setup of damping that works real well on the drag strip.

What is your initial impression of these? Ride quality, responsiveness, etc?

i think they peformed real well for the price. its lowered by shock body. i am riding on what damping setup from the factory, it is not very stiff its very streetable and you have the adjustable damping to make it stiffer if you chose.

Thanks eighth, that's good to hear. From what you can see do you think these go high enough to keep the car at oem ride height if so desired?
