A good reputable shop will take good care of your car. Sounds like a bit of work to get done and taking time makes sure it is done right. I personally would crack open a Corona, enjoy the scenery and get some sun while it lasts.

Honestly, I'd forget about the car for the next ten days, just relax and enjoy mexico. then when you come back and life starts again, worry about the car. Plus what's worrying gonna do, the only thing I can think that it would do is ruin the trip. Good luck!

I dont mean to harsh your buzz or ruin happy hour but 3 WEEKS???I would find a dirrerent shop.I could dismantle my whole car and put it back together quicker than that.oh ya dont drink the water.hahaha :thumb:

Yeah that last guy is right. Any good mechanic could have all of that stuff changed in under 8 hours. At least i could.

You're not working on multiple vehicles at once.

Though I would find out what's up.

Enjoy Mexico, don't get alcohol poisoning. Not a fun time.

Yeah but I'm saying just lay back and chill, even if he drove the thing off a cliff OMG , what are you gonna do 1000's of miles away LOL  so just have fun brother, I wish I was there with ya!

If he is a reputable shop, chill out, as someone said he could drive it off a cliff. But he is still responsible for it.

Now dont drink the water or anything with ice.

not much you can do but try not to worry about it. If it is being done at a reputable shop then your ok. P.S. stay away from the mexican donkey piss.(aka. corona)

Yeah thats true he is working on at least 20 more cars as well as mine...I was so concerned about him getting the work done on mine I didn't even think about that :| , and Mehico is soooo nice, i drank the water already :sneaky: and I'm still cool  I think OMG , well I'll just have to drink lots of donkey piss and get over the poisoning :rocks: , thanks fellas

Leet said it. The guy is probably working on several cars at once. There's the parts issue, the broken bolt syndrome out there somewhere, etc. Like I always said, I would prefer repairing it once slowly rather than twice fast.

Good Luck

yes. he has his garage to tend to as well as other cars. they do something to the car...come back to it...eat lunch. Its all about money and satisfying everyone.
It happens. It will get done right. good luck. :thumb:
