basically as dave said we go to a pizza place or a restuarant when its cold but it happens every thursday night at 7

Whats up guys, new to the forums. I'm down in Nanjemoy, about 10-15 minutes from LaPlata and 20 minutes from waldorf. I saw two guys from southern maryland on here, who else do we have down this way?

Few MDers still around im sure. To many of our cars are broken though :(

HAha I hear that...My 93 tsi awd has been sitting outside under a cover for about 4 years now. It just had a broken brake line but I was a poor college student and had to park it for awhile. Folks are about to try to sell it so I am tempted to go down there and take it out.

On a side note, anyone know some things I should check on if the car has been sitting outside for 4 years (under a car cover but that probably doesnt do much). Tires are probably dry rot (sitting on wood blocks but yeah..) but the engine and motor were just replaced before I had to park the car, so I am hopeful.

I'd definately go through and replace every fluid on the car, especially oil, and gear oil. Also might want to put some fresh gas in it, and change plugs and wires.

And Maryland guys are still around. Just most of the guys I know are in the middle of a build. We have about 10 DSM's about here in Cecil. Only 3 or 4 that run however...

How about some Maryland girls? There are a couple of us still around.

anyone else from Hagerstown? I drive around in a green '97. My car is plagued by the check engine light and poor performance after cold starting. The code is a P1400. Anyone else have this problem. yes i searched and people were saying about a manifold differential pressure sensor. But i went to advanced auto(not the best place) and he couldn't even find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

6th Annual GMU DSM Meet
Sponsored by Team Trinity
March 15th 2008 @ 11:00am – 4:00pm
Parking Lot J, GMU Fairfax Campus

First off, We at Team Trinity want to say thanks to everyone who came out last year to help us support our local DSM community. All of us hope you got to play catch-up with some old friends, and even took the opportunity to make some new ones; we know we did!!! This year we’re all working “overtime” with our vision of making this the best GMU meet to date, but we need your help! Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell anyone in the DSM community you can!!!

We have confirmations that most of your local DSM racing shops will be coming down to showcasing their hot, new products made specifically for the upcoming race season. Plus, they’ve agreed to donate a lot of hot prizes for our annual raffle; come’ on people…….free stuff!!! All you got to do is buy your raffle tickets at $2 apiece, or get 3 for $5 and save a buck. Speaking of a buck, we’ll have plenty of snacks and beverages available for purchase, so just bring your cash. Also, take a minute to gather up your spare parts so you can join in on the action of our annual swap meet.

For those of you who’ve done this before, you know its well worth the drive. DSM’s from all over Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina and New York have made it to this meet in the past, and your sure to see them all again.

Here’s the map and address of the GMU Fairfax Campus. Lot K is located across from the Mason Pond and close to the Patriot Center. Go to Welcome to George Mason University for more location details.

If you miss this event, don’t worry. You’ll have all season long to regret about how much of a baby you were for not attending.

Can’t wait to see you there!

Rain date is scheduled for March 22nd, but please, check this thread often for changes due to inclement weather and other unforeseeable events.

i check it out impressive you better believe i will be involved in team trinity come march
