I sold my car during the summer. It was a 92 GSX. I sold it to a guy from Owings Mills who said he moved to PA.

A few weeks ago, I got a call from the police.

"Hello, are you the owner of a black Mitsubishi 2-door Eclipse?"
"Um... I used to be... why?"
"Well, we found it parked in a neighborhood with license plates from an Eagle Talon. We ran the VIN number and you were the last registered owner."
"Oh... sorry, I don't own that car anymore."

I thought I was done with that car, but that phone call got me all curious.

So anybody seen my old car? Check in my gallery for pics.

I remember your car..

the owner probably just used tags from another dsm to park it somewhere. shouldn't the car be registered to the new guy though? i wonder why they would come to you.

if he never got the title switched over and has no proof of ownership then jung is still the rightful owner of the car. in order to have it changed to the other guys name he would have to go to the mva and pay the fee to have it switched in his name

yeah good point... so far i haven't seen anything, but i'll still look around and ask people if they have seen anything.

happened to me when i sold a car to a guy out of state.. the issue is that sometimes when you sell to out of state, your own state doesn't realize you're not the owner any more. what happened with me was that my old car was found in DC, and they contacted MD and VA both, and so the VA police contacted me, thinking it was my car still.
