I just picked up a simple mbc to replace my dual stage. im not sure of the brand i picked it up of one of my buddys for 5 bucks. ill try and explain, its made of what looks like bronze. Boost line fittings at the bottom and on the side twards the top. To adjust boost its just a simple turn of hex nut and then screwing the screw on top tight on the bolt. but my problem is that im not reserculating my BOV (tial) and im trying to figure out how to run my lines. I have 1 line from my intake manifold running to my BOV. and on the boost controller i have the line off my wastegate running to the bottom of the controller and the fitting on the side is running a line from the J pipe. but under WOT it stutters and isnt running correctly. how should the lines be run for a non recurc. BOV?

I don't see in your mod list where you can safely non rec. your bov. You really need that hooked up man unless you have a system set up specifically set up for that purpose. Your spiking rich no doubt. As for the MBC, it sounds like a simple homedepot unit like I use. You need to run the boost line from the turbo to the bottom of the MBC and a line from the top of the MBC back to the waste gate actuator on the turbo.

Thats what I was thinking when I bought the car. I noticed it wasnt rec. but it drove perfectly fine with a minor boost leak in the J pipe because that fitting wasnt plugged. Ive been running it like that since ive bought the car. But now one of my buddys with a 1g pointed out to me that the lines should be run a differernt way and routed them the way I have it set now. And its spiking and not really running as smooth as it was before.

If it's still stumbling under boost then check for the most common problem which is usualy boost leaks. If your car checks out free of leaks, then the MBC itself could be the culpret. A sticky spring or too light of a ball bearing for the amount of boost your running. How much boost are you trying to run btw?
