MBC Problem

With the stock BCS I was boosting up to 12psi. Installed the joe p MBC and the boost will only go up to 13psi, even with the adjustment screw all the way in, all the way out it will boost to 10psi. I am getting my boost source from the nipple on the T25 compressor housing. I ran the hoses like the instructions said to.

Did you run the second MBC outlet to the wastegate actuator?

I have a MBC on my T25 boosting 16 psi.

I just tried hooking a hose from the wastegate straight to the compressor housing and was only boosting to around 11 I think it was. Im thinking the stock bypass valve is leaking. DAMN 2g bpv's.

yea, my stock bov would only hold 12 psi, my cheapbay holds more

if you still have the stock 2g bov... that would most likely be your problem. replace it.... with ANYTHING!!!

fixed the stock 2g valve. I did a version of the dodge garage mod to it and its holding up nicely. But i will be changing it soon to a aftermarket unit.
