hey all, ive got a joep xz on the way and i was planning on UPgrading to the E-MBC from joep so i wouldnt have to get under the hood to change boost. But i was thinking.......would there be any negative effects if i just mounted the joep xz in the car? like on the center console? it should work right? only thing im not sure about is having the lines to and from the mbc like 3 times longer then normal...will that mess anything up or change anything as opposed to having it under the hood right there with everything?

o and by the way its been like 2 weeks since i ordered it, i dont really wanna email him and bug em so can someone tell me about there experiences with joep, esspecially shipping time?

Actually you want those vacuum lines as short as possible. I don't remember the exact reason why but I think it will affect spool up time. So unless you have a EBC I wouldn't recommend it. Anybody have any opinions on this?

more opinions ???? i dont wanna affect the spool up or anything like that, i can live with it under the hood, anyone know for sure?

i have been tryin to figure that out but my buddy with a national has his mbc inside his car and he says that he has no type of problem.
:dsm:

Do Grand Nationals even have blow off valves?

I'm not exactly sure why that would make a difference, but if his turbo slows every time he shifts, maybe spikes aren't an issue. But as stated, if the lines are long, spikes are more common.

okay, im just gonna do like everyone does and put it on the radiator mount or valve cover bolt or something, thanks for helping me not make a mistake:)

im still curious about joep's shipping methods though, hehe.

mmmm, grand national...i would like to have one of those and make it all out drag race beast.....mmmmmmmmmm:thumb:

My experience with Joe was a good one. It took approximately one month to get my MBC, but that was due to a parts supply issue. Joe e-mailed me and explained what was going on and gave me a time frame for when he would be able to deliver. He met that extended timeframe and my MBC arrived in perfect condition w/instructions. Good Luck!

:talon: I bought mine straight from Joe, off of ebay. boy, he really goes out of his way too help people for 8 frickin' dollars!
