I currently have a Greddy Profec but I've heard from others there aren't stable at 25+ psi so I have a question about how to setup a MBC on an external wastegate. I've search through forums but none were how to setup with through an external wastegate and I saw a few through saying some thing using a tee.

This is how its done. With a pressure source. BYW, thats not an external wastegate, that would be internal from your picture.

My turbo is running on an external wastegate not an internal wastegate actuator. Do I set it up using the Tee...

I'll just follow this setup. It's basically the same thing as the second image just don't know why Tial has a vacuum tube to the side bung when the pressure is release by the vent before the bung.

Maybe I'm missing something, but from that picture it "pulls" the valve from the seat, so you'd want to pressurize underneath the diaphragm, which would be the side port. From Tial's diagram, it looks like the ball and spring(key words) MBC would actually work backwards, the tighter you adjust it the less pressure pushing down on the valve(from the top of the diaphragm) and the sooner it would open. Loosening the MBC would allow the pressure on both sides of the diaphragm to be closer to balanced, holding the valve closed longer and raising the effective boost pressure.

I would suggest using the side port and having it hooked up just like any other ball and spring MBC for simplicities sake. Leave the top port open to the atmosphere.

If you have any trouble with it blowing open at higher psi then hook it up the same as Tial's diagram, but remember that a MBC will work backwards(as in raising/lowering boost, do NOT hook it up backwards)
