MBC boost leak help!

I did a boost leak test and most of it was coming out of my manual boost controller on the 2 sides. How can I fix this? It is a turbosmart bc.

Also I took the mbc out and directly attached the lines with a tee. Is this safe to run it like this? It only hits 12-13 psi max like this.

A MBC is essentially a bleed valve to bleed off some pressure so your wastegate stays closed longer, So you should have a boost leak there.

No the turbosmart is not supposed to leak at all. I'm just wondering if it's safe to run the way I set it up, until I can get it fixed. This was purely the problem.

you can remove the mbc and run a hose from the wastegate nipple to a vacuum source like you i/c pipe, at least until you fix your mbc or get a new one
