ok so my mbc and boost gauge are suppose to arive early next week, and i was just wonder wich i should install first? should i install the boost gauge first and see what psi im actually running, and then install the mbc? or does it really mater which i install first? im still running the t25 and plan on running 15psi. what kind of gains should i be expecting if any?
thanks

Install the boost gauge first. Drive the car. Make sure the boost gauge works and is reasonably accurate. Then install the boost controller. Start off at the lowest setting and work your way up. Make sure you have your datalogger ready to log your injector duty cycle and knock sensor readings.

You probably won't gain much on the T25, even if you bump up from 12-13psi to 15psi. Do you have any supporting modifications to go along with your increase in boost? Rewired fuel pump? 190lph? Injectors, SAFC?

Also, please remember to use spell check, punctuation, and capitalization in your future posts. Thanks in advance.

Thank you,im sorry for my spelling, im just trying to get a decent idea of what I need to do. Im looking for a data log program righnt now. I already have a lap top for logging, and i orderd a data log cable. I just did the fuel pump rewire, and dont really know what else i need to run. Im also about to get a safc. What else should i look into? that

Oh and im sorry, i forgot to add that I will be adding a 14b with custom mani, within the next few weeks. My Marine recruiter is selling me his 14b sence he changed to a 16g. I know i need a install kit with a J pipe but, as I say again it will be about two weeks before we install it. thank you again

You will need injectors for the SAFC. Your current injectors are pushing as much as you need at stock boost. Again, usually people buy injectors with the SAFC, not just an SAFC to use on the stock injectors. As for a logging program, search DSMTuners for "MMCD". This is a logging software that has a lot of information already present on this site. Good luck!

The stock 450's will run a 14b quite well. With a 190lph pump rewired, I was seeing only about 80% IDC on the stock injectors with my 14b pushing 16-17psi. Granted, every car will be different, but if all is working correctly, a T25 running at 15psi shouldn't be taxing the stock injectors too much. Of course, the datalogger will tell you what the story is better than we can guess. With the logger, a rewired fuel pump, an SAFC, a boost controller, and an MBC, you should be set to have a lot of fun with your T25. When you get the 14b, look into getting a 190lph pump just to cover your bases. 550cc injectors wouldn't hurt, but probably aren't necessary at this point.

MMCD is for 1g's only, OP has a 2g

thanks for all the advice guys. my gauge arived this morning, but im still waiting on the mbc, gauge pod and my turbo timer. the vacum hose (i think thats what it is) that came with the gauge looks really short, i dont really know if its long enough. Do the gauges usually come with everthing needed to install?
thanks
oh btw its a megan racing gauge.

Usually, yes. Did the gauge come with a white nylon coil of hose? If so, I recommend getting a barbed fitting for the gauge and using standard rubber hose. The white nylon hose tends to crack and kink.

As for where to tap in for your boost signal and electrical power, there are several articles on here as well as the VFAQ. If you haven't read the VFAQ site yet, please do. It's a treasure trove of information.

yea it did come with a white nylon hose. is that the vacum line. It just seems so short.

That's the standard line used. As boxx stated, it's crap. Upgrade to real vacuum line if you can. You don't need much line depending on where you mount the gauge and where you tap it in the engine bay.
