maybe a leak

ive noticed oil, or some oily residue on my valve cover, and i think its coming from the tube on the back left of the cover, how can i fix it? the tube is not broken, it looks tight, but maybe too tight and a crack underneath?

sure its not from the oil cap? if the vaulve cover is cracked just buy a new one they are pretty cheap

valve cover seals, filter breather, spark plug seals, oil cap, etc.

most likley the oil cap. mine is doing it...

Just replaced my oil cap same thing,it fixed the problem.think the cap was $5 at the local auto parts store.oh and it would not leak at idle only under a load.The ruber seal was gone ,might want to check that first.
