Hey guys. My buddy just got a FWD laser turbo. Only mods right now is the 16g turbo. We plan on doing a 3inch exhaust from the turbo back. Getting a new mas (probely the GM one) along with a front mount.

once we have the wideband and boost gauge installed we will instal a manual boost controler. How far can we push this car with the stock fuel system and the 16g?

we are going to get a 255lph fuel pump along with AEM fuel pressure regulator too. so how far can we push it after the fuel pump??? i know injectors will become and issue at some point along with having to do something for tuning.

its the small 16g i believe. At least thats what my buddy says. ill post a pic if i can figure oout how to get it off my phone

and yeah we just need the sensor its self and then the translator right? nothing else (besides some intake piping to actually connect it all)

Ya...I'd honestly go for dsmlink v3lite and run speed density so you could vent your BOV and I don't think you'd be in it for much more money and you'd have SOOO much more for your money, logging, tuning, and venting your BOV just for a bit more...haha sorry I'm just a big advocate on link and running a translator just wasn't worth it to me these days with everything else, your buddy's choice though...good luck bro

He wouldn't regret it I guarantee you that much...I'd bet money on it.

yeah hes not a technical guy really. the car is honestly enough for him right now.. once hes does his own research and gets to the point of needing new injectors ill convinece him to sell the GM mas and run speed density. i have speed density on my car.. so nice to have. paired with link it must be killer. never heard a bad thing about dsm link.

we have a 7min drive to a place called all speed customs and they have a dyno. If we needed too and he had enough invested into the car, we would do something like that.
