Max hp on a big 16g?

hey guy, I curious the max hp a 7bolt can make. Only upgrades are a fmic, injen intake, big 16g turbo and dsm link, exhaust and tubular manifold not sure what brand, maybe ebay.

Ill probably leave the block stock, arp head studs.
Dsm link on 18-22 psi daily driven. I cant wait.
Im going to check out a 96 gsx with 91k miles with a big 16g turbo on stock boost Fmic ans ome other small mods for $3900.
Stock front bumper :(. I hope ita all good, I wana start boosting....

Since no one has said this. That is an evo3 turbo.

I run 93, DSM link is in my future! I am soon to set up a 3" gm maft and start tunning with that, but I have dreams of dsm link LOL, injectors and clutch are up next it's getting bad... I and just so u know I hit fuel cut every once in a while with the stock injectors at 18psi but my wideband does not lean out, not that it is safe to do, but tunning is next. Arp head studs with a metal gasket i am assuming? As far as the block should hold 400hp no problem with a health motor.
 
Yea you'll b fine, I actually ran a cometic but heard bad things about them so when I built my block I threw a Mitsubishi hp 3 layer metal one on there and love it, but I fixed my (about me) go check out my mods on there to get a better idea of what I have going on. Wild guess and from racing I have been told and think myself I'm around 375-400hp

We all see 16G, but what fuel mods - Injector size, upgraded fuel pump? Im assuming pump gas? What are you tuning with? You left all that out

You need to add more mods to your profile.Your missing fuel, turbo,engine management.
 
Fyi, the compressor housing specifies an evo 3 16g in your picture.

I told him that..He said he looked up the serial number.But all he said was 16g or big 16g..

Lmao. You are NOT anywhere close to those numbers, just so you know. You're going to need a little bit more than what you have since you are not tuned, especially on pump 93. Judging by the way you've been commenting, you can't tune. Nor is there a shop around here I would even think about letting tune my car to ensure a good, lasting motor at least.

But anyway, OP, you're going to need fuel upgrades to get your goal of 350whp along with some type of tuning software; Link, Jackal, Werewolf, etc. A cometic/ARP combo is perfect. I've used it on 3 of my previous DSM's at over 28psi in all of them, 2 of them making over 450whp and did not have one problem at all. Some will hate on Cometic, some won't. I would look into methanol injection to help you out a little on your goal also. Not needed typically, but it would allow room to grow and more power to be thrown at it when you get more comfortable with the car itself.

Dsmlink v3
Aem wideband
Arp studs with cosmetic headgasket
and the other little things Turbo timer, boost controler ect...
with the evo 3 16g
93 pump gas and no meth
I looking for 350hp maxx, dont want to go any higher, I will probably sell the car befor I do.

Also no need to run MLS head gasket. I've got an OEM one with ARP studs torqued to 100ft-lbs.

I've got the same manifold and turbo for my car.
 
Oem or felpro, arps good to go, to me metal means problems, arps felpro over 400hp in my tsi, and previous builds, sd great to have once you learn to tune it. Just got all my sd stuff ordered, ready to go.

Ok ill get the oem if it will be fine and whats the torque sequence for the head on the 7 bolt head?

When i got my first dsm in 94, thats the first thing i bought a 20 dollar manual, before anything else.
