max boost?

ok, i read som threads and none of them answered my ???, check out my profile to see what all i have done to my car and tell me if i blew up my car from running to much boost (im 16 and it was my first car, i drove it 3days and the alternator went out, i replaced that and drove it 3 more days, and im pretty sure the rings are TOASTED! and also i need another turbo cause mine has in and out shaft play ) so idk if running 25psi with a 14b turbo (i think the manifold it a 2g?) the boost was set all the way up (the waste gate was shut ALL the way) and thats how i bought it HELP ME DECIDE IF IM GOING TO TEAR APART MY ENGINE

How much boost did you hit? Does it have an aftermarket boost gauge? Also depends if you have the supporting mods and have it tuned properly. Some have ran more than 30psi, but they run it w/race gas, and have a tuning device and are logging.

Ya you probaly blew it.... Lets just say subtract 10 lbs of boost and thats what you should have been at... You should have got on here and read before you went boosting all over the place... You will learn.. Good luck

You need to tell us what your car is doing... Like smoke and what color, knocking, ect..

i was running a max of 25psi (stock one goes past 14) and yea i have an aftermarket one, these are all of my mods <<Bolt-on Modifications
aftermarket boost, and af ratio gauges, chrome metal pipe from intercooler to intake, manual boost control, jdm cyclone turbo intake manifold, and im pretty sure it has a 2g manifold on it with a 14b attached

i have aftermarket black rims, and brandnew tires>>
