Mass Air Sensor Failure + Multiple Cylinder Misfires

98 Gst Supra smic, custom intercooler piping except 2/3 of upper intercooler pipe, 550 fic injectors, safc, fp big28 turbo.

The car runs fine while under low throttle but when the boost gets high(or even low) car struggles and I get check engine light. I went to autozone and got a diagnostic with 2 codes. Which is descriped in the title of the thread. Mass Air Sensor Failure + Multiple Cylinder Misfires. There could be leaks in the intercooler piping or some kind of vacuum leak.

Where should I start checking. Anyone have ideas to start checking for problems?

I replaced the spark plugs...helped a little bit but didn't totally fix. Pulled a spark plugged and it looked a little greyish/white with a lot of black stuff around the bottem of the screw. Anyone have any ideas? Cyclinder 1 misfire. Am i not giving enough info? Any ideas can help.

The ecu , will send a code to the car. To let u know if it is the air flow senser or not. So check your local auto parts store . For a clifford manual.And check the code. Its your best friend. It cost between 10-$20.00. That how i find out mine was bad. Good luck. Thanks oj

Thanks but I fixed the problem. It was the spark plug wires. Carbon Arc I believe is the term. Had a real small hole on the back of the plug. Put some electric tape around it and it fixed it. Then I went and bought some more spark plug wires. Dont know why I got the mass air code from the guy at autozone...of course it is autozone.
