MAS input/output

this doesnt make sense to me, so im thinking that its a misprint but i read that high MAS input frequency means more air and high MAS output frequencymeans more fuel. If this is correct or incorrect, can someone still explain this to me? thanks

haha im sorry, im a newb to this stuff so i just assumed that was enough information. but im talking about the MAS input/output frequencies that the ecu uses to determine how much fuel to inject...does that help?

The MAF puts out a signal that increases in frequency are the airflow increases. That and the inputs from the air temp and barometric pressure allow the ECU to calculate air mass flow.

The only input signal to the MAF is to reset it.
