map sensors

do any of you guys know what, or where, a link is on the info for the stock or other map sensors that will work with 2nd gen gst? Any thing but the stock map. Also what bar sensor is the stock map? I am shure a gm map will work but wich one?

The dsm's dont use a map.

They have the MPD sensor which is essentially the same thing. I'm assuming this is what he's refering to.

I am refering to the friendly sensor on top of the 2nd gen turbo intake manifold that measures the vacuum. It has a nipple on it and there is an adapter plate that is sold to convert this sensor to work with the 1st gen motor. The sensor has 3 wires with a rectangle female connector. The one i have has been crushed and now is deamed unuseful. I would like to know if I am able to use another sensor (like a gm 2 or 3 bar map)? thanks guys

No you cant. And that sensor is not a map, it is a manifold differential pressure sensor. Similar but different just the same.
