I've been looking online and been searching around quite a bit here on the forum but can't really find an answer.
My 97 Eclipse is having some shift linkage issues, 2nd 4th and Reverse wont stay in gear but the gears are still there if I hold the gear shifter in to the proper position for the gears.
Shift cables under the center console sit fine and no issues there

Looking for a replacement part for the shift linkage bracket that holds it by the transmission under the hood but have yet to find one on eBay or Facebook Marketplace.
I've looked for Avenger/Talon/Eclipse parts but can only find shift cables no brackets.

Hopefully someone can help me find one or have an extra laying around that I can buy.

Here are some videos showing the issues with the shifter and the bracket and cable toward the transmission.

Thanks a lot!

I apologize if this is in the wrong section of the forum

The bracket does not need replacement. The bushings do.
I'm not referring to the bushings on the end of the cables, but the ones that go on the bolts holding the bracket in place. You could call them grommets I guess. Mopar discontinued the parts a while back. My remedy is to place an additional washer onto the bolt to account for the gap of squished/shrunken bushing. Please refer to my post #9 in this thread below for further information and pictures:

Going to try this out this week, hopefully it works out. If it does, I'll buy you a coffee or something

I don't need anymore of that, I drink it by the gallon already LOL

Now if you had any spare transmissions to give me it'd be great. I recently decided upon a hobby of collecting/rebuilding NVT-350 transmissions.

This all happened 1 hour in to owning the car so really hoping that's the issue, sadly no extra transmissions sorry!

I have got the bracket sitting tight as well as the shift cables on the transmission and by the shifter assembly inside the center console.
U clips on the bracket are still there, so the cables are not loose.

If you watch the video in my original post, you'll see 2nd gear pop straight back out. It no longer does but it wont stay all the way back. 4th still just pops to neutral and 5th is sitting the same just as it was.
And a little bit of context regarding this, after a red light shifting from 1st to 2nd gear and trying to get to 3rd my shifter got stuck in the 2nd gear position. Had to pull over and pretty much force it out of gear with the clutch in. I can't remember any pops/bang or anything like that and there was no fluid leaking after I pulled over. I really have no idea and I don't have the money to replace the transmission.

If anyone has any other ideas what it could be please help me out. Shifter assembly? Actual transmission?

Please, and thank you

@BLACK'98DSM Any other ideas you might have?
