mine needed only one support on the passengers side of the rack. i took a extra silicone 4 ply coupler and cut out a piece to crush between the rack and the stock support and its fine.

on the 27th i got spinal surgery so i cant get under the car right now for a few weeks. when my friends stop by ill see if they can get a pic for me

And it gives you the actual feeling of the road. Power steering relies on there being play in the pinion to sense when you turn the wheel, which is why it is moronic when people just simply cap off their lines on the rack and call it a day. At the minimum, one would need to take it out and weld it, which IMO is dangerous unless you know how to keep the hardened properties of the metal intact.

oh wow haha i didnt even think of the rack and pinion, i was like whats he have a rack on the roof LOL. aww funny, ya good call i know thats a good move i guess if u want to feel road more. Oh nice post ramsack i was just going to say couldnt u just remove the power steering and be done? thats interesting so where does the true manual racks come from is it off another car or aftermarket?
