Where can I order/ get a manual rack and pinion for a 91 laser?

It is very tough to find one. These are NLA (No Longer Available) from Mitsu and most auto parts stores can not get them either. You can find one every now and then on one of the DSM sites.

I see some every now and then on the classifieds section, but shipping would kill you on this one.

Call DSMGraveyard. Sometimes they don't list things on their site that they actually have.

I'd also look at craigslist for local part outs.

Autozone sells remanufactured ones, give them a call - I got one maybe 3 years ago from them without any problem at all.
