jcwhitney and summit have them, i dont know how tight you need them, but they make a "tight" radius one...or they make donuts that you can cut

Does anybody know where I can buy tight (I mean tight) radius mandrel bent pipe 2 1/2 in aluminized.

Stainless Works in Ohio. http://www.stainlessworks.net/cart/index.php

These guys have an Addison electric CNC mandrel bender and can and will do anything you ask. They can also make flanges. All you need to do is ask.
Gread quality on the stuff I have seen and good pricing too.

Tight (I mean tight) is referred to in the trade as a "1 - D" bend.
Meaning the radius of the bend and the tube diameter are the same. In your case a 2 1/2" on 2 1/2" bend.

Make friends with someone going to an art school. I'd ask my buddy to do it in his batch for me, but I don't need 2.5.

Nope, they do not carry them, Thanks

This is not going to be a stocked item, 1-D bends are a pain in the ass and are not what people commonly want.
You'll most likely have to pay a set-up fee.

Look at the RRE page SethA has in his post. Look under "Donuts?" Pick your size in steel and order it. If you click on "Donuts?" you will see a picture of what they look like. You can cut any angle you need.

Good luck
