I'm curious as to what it takes to make something like this? MY 2g gsx is rusting badly along the shock towers and is from this point forward becoming a dedicated drag car with no further street use. I would like to chope the entire front from the firewall forward and do a tube chassis front end to replace old rusted / weak parts, drop some weight off the car and make it easier / friendlier to work on. I'd like someone to show me a design they used for this and how they tied the front together with the rest of the car. Any info, pictures and explanations are appreciated! Thanks.

most front halfed cars are from the shock towers forward.
like so.

Yea that's what I'm looking for, only I'm looking for more detailed pics without motor / trans installed showing all the mounting points and how everything is reinforced.
