I'm about to mount a high wrong to my car and know how to mount it. The question is how do I know where to position the wing before I start drilling or should I just get it where I like it and go?

Just set it on the decklid and by the angle of the spoiler and the edge of the hatch you'll see or notice where it should be located. Just space it evenly on both sides. Check out the thread Spoiler Installation Instructions? below. I explained it in depth and good luck. :D

It should be in the same place where the factory spoiler is but your holes might be in some cases more in the center. Get a measuring tape or string with measurements and measure the center of trunk from left side to right side factory holes. Then use that center point to install your new wing. Move it back and forth depending where you want it but leave your wing centered with the center point.
