making a list, dropping tranny,

Hey friends, so i used the wrong starter plate when i did my 6 bolt swap, and
I am grinding teeth like an addict, since i'm going to be down there anyway. I wanted to make sure i replace the necessary.
already have oem correct starter plate
as of right now no need for clutch pressure plate or flywheel

so far im thinking of
.new oem throw bearing/clip
.new oem pivot ball / fork
.oem seals for tranny/ transfer case
. poly mounts 2x cross member and mount to firewall (already have the other 2 )
.i have new oem bolts for tranny to block/T case.
.????

i would appreciate recommendations. since i'm going to be in the area i just don't want to return later because of something i over looked. Thanks in advance.

Your list looks fine to me, get rippin n' tearin! Just make sure your flywheel teeth aren't chewed up as well as your starter. Also, don't forget to use some loctite on your flywheel bolts.

so this is what im looking at, can any one add their .02 in comparing oem to act throw bearing ?

as you see i'm trying to cover everything. also i don't plant to open up the transmission.

Might look at your shifter bushings. Mine were bad last time. I would also get OEM transmission fluid or shockproof.

Not trying to be argumentative, just stating my opinion based on research and past experience. Shockproof is not the recommended fluid for our trannies. The parafin clogs things up and isn't the best choice if you're not tearing into your tranny every season to freshen it up. Diaqueen from Mitsu is supposed to be pretty good, but I destroyed a tranny running that also. (probably not the fluids fault, but I think it is a little too thin 70w-80?)

I am trying Redline 75w-140NS for my final manual tranny before I switch to auto.

as for the TOB i have heard oem is better, also have heard the same about redline "tranny", although i hear redline is good for the T case. Or is this something to avoid ?

i do appreciate the recommendations, i have upgraded from the tranny to the shifter already. used the Ex-psi shifter bushing kit with megan STS

one more thing. im not familiar with this. ?

Stay with factory oem - all non-oem seem to have problems.

Dont forget to change your fluids. Is the slave still good? check everything. Pressure wash and make it shinny. new cotter pins too.
