main bearing cap removal

Ok so I'm trying to take the crank out of my 90-92 6 bolt block and having some trouble. I removed the main studs and and the last thing is to take out the main caps but the caps are stuck on there pretty good. Is there a trick to getting the main caps off?

Lots of gentle tapping and wiggling. I used my old main bolts, put them both half way in so I could grip it and wiggle it loose.
