I Am Just Trying To Install My 75mm T/b And Sheetmetal Manifold. Can Someone Give A A "how To" Instructions On The T/b. I Dont Know What Sensors To Use On It. It Only Came With 1 One It And A Spot For Another. The Sensor On It Only Has 3 Wires And The Wire To Plug Into It Has 4 So How Do I Wire It. Any Help Would Be Great

I can tell you how a 70mm TPS wires into a GVR4.

With the TPS pointed at the passenger side

Green w red stripe-top

Green w white stripe-center

Green w black stripe-bottom

LOL... tried that.. not very much help. after calling and calling. they gave me a website to go to and it only showed the 1g t/b not the accufab. then they told me the wiring but all the colors where wrong. also these are the guys who told me when i bought this i would need to make no other mods to use this .... what a joke

the 1G TPS has 3 wires, and the 2G TPS has 4 wires... is that the sensor you are talking about? If so, just take the TPS off your old throttle body and swap... if not... I dont know what im taking about.

Unless that tb is designed to run a mitsu sensor I don't think splicing wires in will help much. Is that sensor compatible with your ecu(if stock...)??

There are plenty of diagrams online that will help you figure out which wire is which. Chech vfaq or rre's tech articles for the mitsu sensor, and aems forum should help you with the accufab wires.

If you want Call Elite Autosport. 612-521-0550

Moe - the owner just installed one on his 1G AWD - along with his Magnus SMI
Shane - the Lead Tech - put a 75mm TB on his Magnus SMI also just recently but his is off of an Infinity I believe.

But anyrate they should know what you need to do.

If you don't want to call just get on www.dsmstyle.com its our local website and Shane is on there all the time. His screen name is "Ecoli"

I know this is probably not the brightest question. But what is the point of swaping a bigger throttle body. All i know is more airflow. More airflow means more power. I think there may be more to it. Sry just was wondering.

when you start making power and upgrading everything to bigger units (i.e. 2.5-3" IC pipes, large fmic cores, turbos that flow 550+ cfm, etc) your air flow path is only as big as your smallest restriction, so whats the point in making everything before and after the TB much larger than stock yet keep the stock TB? not that its NEEDED, lots of people have gone 10s on the stocker.

thnx now i have a better understanding why its done. I knew kinda but wasn't to sure. Now it makes me want to go measure what size piping and size the tb accordingly.

i belive the Q45 throttle body shane slapped on his car was a 90mm fyi :)

What most people don't realize is that bigger is not always better.. it's not about how much air you *could* flow, but rather, velocity.
