I am wondering how all you guys running a 75mm throttle body have you ISC setupon your TB. Did you do something custom or did you fabricate an adapter plate to make the original ISC motor work with the 75mm TB? :talon:

Just to add to this post. I recently bought a FRH intake manifold with a 75mm Acuufab TB. There are no provisions for an ISC on this. The car needs to remain streetable, so I'm pretty sure I'll need one. Does anyone know which TB I currently have and which I need? Part numbers would be good, Accufab's web site isn't much help.

Thanks,
Jay

the only way you can go without the ISC is standalone, thats it

it will not idle right with out the ISC

I see. I guess I'll see what I can get out of this TB on Ebay then. What is the correct part number that I want? This is on a FRH manifold. This also doesn't have an idle switch location, which I'd need as well.

I run an FRH manifold with a 70mm Edelbrock and a standalone. I adjusted out the plate to be open around 2%, and that keeps her idling around 800-1100 all the time.

I see. Which standalone are you running? I have the AEM EMS still running stock TB and manifold. I have the FRH & Accufab on my Work-In-Progress. Using the "idle screw" will I be able to tune hot start, negative F cold start, as well as have a consistant idle, all without having to pump the throttle or something? Without the sensors, the TB does look much cleaner, but this isn't a race only car.

Thanks,
Jay

I'm running Autronic (www.autronic.com). I'm not familiar with the AEM, but I can set an idle threshhold so that if the TPS reports under 3%, it goes into the idle timing/fuel maps. With these maps, I can control the idle very well without ever adjusting the amount of airflow. Idle starts to drop too low.. just throw in some timing. If it tries to get wild on me and idle too high, it pulls timing out forcing it to drop.

I purchased my FRH intake mani and 75mm T/B from Jackson Auto Machine and they have told me that they are working on making an adapter plate for the T/B they use to mount the stock mitsu ISC. But right i am not gonna use one since i am going AEM EMS standalone and see how it works....Plus the T/B does look nice w/out that ISC hanging off the bottom.

I have always been able to tune out the idle with fuel once I set the hot idle with the screw. Car idles fine and I do not run a stand a lone, AFC/MAFT/Keydrives combo.
